Functional test, assembly test and test adapters belong together technically. HOERATH develops solutions in which the test system, adaptation and test application interlock cleanly from a technical standpoint - for reliable contacting, reproducible results and efficient test sequences.
From test adapter planning to commissioning
The range of services comprises consulting, project management, concept development as well as the creation of requirement and functional specifications. Building on this, test adapter planning and technical design in mechanics, electrics and electronics follow. HOERATH then handles the adaptation to the test system, the manufacturing of the test adapter, the development of the test application as well as integration and commissioning of the test adapter.
Depending on the requirements, solutions arise ranging from purely mechanical to systems with compressed air and vacuum. The goal is always a reliable, robust and repeatable interface between the test system and the device under test.
Precise contacting for structured test processes
In the area of assembly and functional testing, HOERATH realizes tailored solutions for electronic components and applications with elevated requirements for accuracy and repeatability. These include, among others, Boundary Scan / JTAG as well as functional tests with LabVIEW and TestStand based on National Instruments and Emerson respectively.
For the technical implementation, different adaptation solutions are used depending on the task – including connector contacts, mechanical test adapters, pneumatic systems or vacuum adapters. The adaptation to the test system via VPC (Virginia Panel Corporation) or Pylon interface is also part of the range of services. The implementation is complemented by documentation including the CE conformity assessment procedure, measurement system capability verification and technical support.
