HOERATH develops measurement, test and development solutions for applications with high demands on quality, precision and technical reliability. Depending on the industry, processes, regulations and requirements differ significantly - and that is precisely where the strength of a well-thought-out, application-specific solution approach lies.
Aerospace & Defence
In aerospace and defence, specific regulations, documented processes and high reliability play a central role. Building on existing competencies in the development and manufacturing of component test benches – for example for emergency power supply units, interior lighting units and valve flaps – HOERATH offers services from concept development through system integration to support during series ramp-up.
The preparation of requirement-based documentation in line with industry-specific regulations is also one of the essential tasks. This produces solutions for applications in which traceability, robustness and technical safety are decisive.
Electronics
In the area of electronics, HOERATH realizes precisely fitting functional test systems for electronic assemblies – for bare PCBs as well as for already integrated components. Analog, digital and mixed-signal applications are possible, with or without an upstream boundary scan test.
For the software applications, HOERATH relies on proven tools such as LabVIEW and TestStand, among others. For DUT adaptation, connector contacts and bed-of-nails adapters are used – mechanical or pneumatic, depending on the requirement. This produces reliable test solutions for precise and reproducible test processes.
Automotive & E-Mobility
From many years of development and manufacturing experience in the interior and exterior environment, HOERATH possesses sound expertise in the area of optical and electrical measurement technology. This includes, among other things, test benches for bumpers, door side panels and instrument panels in the environment of major automotive suppliers.
Building on this, HOERATH also brings experience in electromobility – for example in the optical measurement of rotors or the development of inverter test benches. This produces solutions for applications in which dynamics, reliability and technical process reliability are decisive.
Medical technology
As in aerospace, development and manufacturing services in medical technology are also subject to specific regulations and clearly defined processes. HOERATH brings experience from numerous projects in test equipment construction in accordance with G(A)MP guidelines and provides support with demanding tasks requiring high precision and documentation.
This includes, among other things, assembly and component testers, leak test cells for eye-surgery accessories as well as optical inspection machines for tools from dentistry. This produces solutions for applications in which process reliability, traceability and technical precision are indispensable.
